The Brain Prize 2019

Aiming for treatment they have spent more than 30 years describing, understanding and diagnosing the most common hereditary form of stroke, CADASIL. For this, the four French neuroscientists from Paris Diderot and Paris Descartes universities, are now receiving the world’s most valuable prize for brain research – the Lundbeck Foundation Brain Prize, worth 1 million euros.

USPC-NUS Call for proposals 2019

As part of a cooperation launched in 2013, the Université Sorbonne Paris Cité (USPC) and the National University of Singapore (NUS) co-fund three calls for proposals to promote new scientific and academic collaborations between Europe and South East Asia.  These calls have enabled to start 45 research and / or teaching collaborations between NUS and USPC and 11 PhD mobilities in all disciplines.

HRS4R, a label of excellence for researchers

In July 2017, Paris Diderot University is the 5th French university to obtain, by the European Commission, the HRS4R label. She was quickly joined in November 2017 by the Paris Descartes University. A double label which contributes to the attractiveness of the institutions to researchers from all over the world and conditions the obtaining of research funding from the European Union.
